Grand Omaxe reaches out to Noida Authority over society’s handover

The Association of Apartment Owners (AOA) of Grand Omaxe, a residential society in Sector 93B, Noida, has written to Amit Mohan Prasad, CEO of Noida Authority, seeking his intervention in the handover of the society from the builder.

The residents’ body complained that Facility Plus Management Pvt Ltd, a private company providing maintenance services to the residents, is obstructing the process of the handover. The company was appointed by the builder and its entire workforce deployed in the society has been replaced.

PVS Prakash, secretary of the AOA, told City Spidey, “We have hired a new agency for the upkeep of common areas and housekeeping chores of the society. The agency is effectively providing the services from the beginning of May. But the company appointed by the builder is not ready to quit. It is obstructing the maintenance work as the new agency is not being given access to the maintenance billing software.”

He said that there were about 5,000 residents in the society and the AOA wanted to give them better services but the builder was also not ready to handover the society.

Prakash also met Shishir Singh, additional CEO of the Authority, and urged him to initiate action against the builder as he hasn't taken any action to solve the problem. He added that Singh ordered the officer on special duty with the Authority for group housing projects to speak with the builder and ask him to solve the issues.
