Heaps of garbage left unattended in front of the society
The newly elected RWA of Dwarka Kunj Apartments, Sector 12, discussed several issues linked to sanitation at its very first meeting.
The meeting organised today morning discussed water woes and garbage management. They also spoke about security issues and encroachment of footpath by vendors around the society.
RWA general secretary GB Joshi said, "Sanitation is our first priority. We are not satisfied with the corporation's approach to garbage disposal. You can see heaps of garbage lying on the road in front of the society. This must be cleaned every day."
Joshi further said that they are making a list of issues to take up with the authorities.
Elections were held on April 14. Richh Pal was elected as the president and Hari Krishan Arora as the vice-president. GB Joshi was picked for the post of general secretary, while Tarun Kaushik was elected as the joint secretary. Yashwant Kumar Yadav was elected as the treasurer.
