A bike theft was closely avoided when the thief was nabbed by the owner and guards of Good Earth City Mall in Sector 50, Gurgaon. The incident happened in broad daylight.

The owner, Ajit Singh, was walking towards his bike when he saw a stranger fiddling with the lock. He also had an accomplice, who was waiting at some distance.
Singh gave chase for a couple of kilometres, and finally caught the man with the help of the guards at the mall. The accomplice, however, managed to flee.
The accused, Saijaad Khan, is supposedly a plumber with a company in Noida.
According to assistant sub-inspector Chandigram Khatana, “We reached the spot as soon as we got the news. An FIR has been lodged and we will take the case forward.”
