Senior Citizens Association Dwarka (SCAD) organised a free health check-up camp at their recreation centre at MCD Park in Sector 6 today. The camp was inaugurated by the newly elected area councillor of Dwarka-B and a resident of Guru Apartments in Sector 6, Kamaljeet Sehrawat.
Senior citizens from across the sub-city turned up in large numbers and availed free check-ups such as blood sugar and blood pressure. General secretary of SCAD and a resident of Harsukh Apartments, Ravi Jaitely, said, “This time we focussed more on eye check-ups for which representatives of Eye 7 Chaudhary Eye Centre were called."
Earlier, members of the association, led by Balbir Singh Yadav, the group’s president, congratulated the area councillor for her grand victory in all the three corporations in Delhi. In her speech, she promised to serve the society to the best of her abilities. She also asked the association to continue similar interactions with her.
The felicitation ceremony was attended by over 100 members of SCAD. Yadav thanked all members and the Eye 7 team for making the camp a grand success.
