About 100 residents attended the camp organised on World Hypertension Day.
About 100 people attended a free health check-up camp organised at Dwarka Mor on May 17.
The camp was organised by Sahaj Sambhav, a social organization working on drug de-addiction, at its centre in association with Artemis Hospitals on the occasion of World Hypertension Day 2017.
During the camp, people were counseled about hypertension, its causes and remedy. The doctors also raised awareness about seasonal diseases. There were also a check-up of blood sugar, blood pressure and ECG.
Rekha Jhingan, general secretary of Sahaj Sambhav and a resident of Peepal Apartments, Sector 17, told City Spidey, “We organise such camps occasionally for the benefit of the community. On May 31, we will be organising an event on the occasion of Anti Tobacco Day. I want to appeal to everyone to try to live in peace and with a tension-free mind.”
