Here are City Spidey's top four picks from Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurgaon:

Forester fired for misreporting: Ratul Singh, Van daroga (forester), has lost his job for alleged incorrect assessment of trees in Noida. Singh was entrusted with the task of surveying trees and certifying them as suitable to be cut down. Noida Forest Department has taken the step in view of several complaints of trees being felled in the city following his erroneous reports.

Labourer electrocuted in Greater Noida village: A 26-year-old labourer, Maiyuddin, was electrocuted on Friday in Chithera village of Greater Noida. He came into contact with a live wire while working on the roof of an under-construction property. He succumbed to his injuries in a nearby hospital.

Fee unpaid, result withheld: Parents of 50 students protested against a school on Friday for withholding results. The Presidium School in Ahinsa Khand 1 of Ghaziabad has taken the step citing non-payment of annual development charges. Results of the annual end-of-term exam were published on March 13.

Integrated mobility plan for Gurgaon: Huda has floated tenders for installation of CCTV cameras and widening of exit and entry points on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway. The measures are part of an integrated mobility plan (IMP) announced at an inter-departmental meeting. The IMP is being prepared in consultation with Delhi Integrated Multi Modal Transit System Limited (DIMTS).
