A first for the group, the 30-member trip is scheduled from May 26-31.
ANHLGT members discuss the travel itinerary at the Sector 23 office
Vacation time! Members of ANHLGT (Association of Neighbourhood Ladies Get-Together) will be touring the Andamans from May 26-31. It’s a group of 30, including husbands.
Cicily Kodian, president of ANHLGT and a resident of Sheetal Vihar Apartments in Sector 23, said, “This is ANHLGT’s first group vacation. Our husbands will also be there. We are all super excited about the trip!”
Most of the touring members are senior citizens.
Chitra Agrawal, a new member of ANHLGT and a resident of Janki Apartments in Sector 22, said, “This is my first trip to the Andamans and I am very excited. I joined the group a couple of months back. I have always wanted to visit Cellular Jail in the Andamans.”
Ashok Kaul, a resident of Veena Residency in Sector 22, will be accompanying his wife Santosh. He said, “My wife is a member of ANHGLT, so I got this wonderful chance to go with her. We are busy planning at the moment — I have been given the responsibility of quite a few things. I can hardly contain my excitement.”
