Amrapali Dream Valley buyers will finally get what they want on May 31

Today, hundreds of buyers of Amrapali Dream Valley in Noida Extension met CEO of Greater Noida Authority, Debashish Panda, to raise their concerns over possession of flats.

During the meeting, buyers demanded a triparty meeting between the developer, Authority officials and homeowners.

Amrapali Dream Valley, claimed to be the first project in Noida Extension, was launched in 2009. But buyers are still struggling to get possession. The developer has so far managed to complete only 40 per cent of the construction.

The project has about 47 towers and nearly 10,000 buyers.

Many claim they have already made 70-80 per cent of the payments, which, according to buyers, has been used by the developer for other projects.

Hitesh Nakhasi, a buyer, told City Spidey, “We have been meeting the developer from the past couple of years, but there has been no commitment so far. Construction has been put on hold for the past one year — not a single labourer can be found at the site!”

He, however, added, "The meeting was positive, and the CEO gave us a date for the triparty meeting, which is May 31. We want Anil Sharma, Amrapali CMD, to be present at the meeting as well.”
