The car has been totally damaged from its rear side as residents say the developer used poor quality construction material.
A car was completely damaged from its rear side after some plaster fell off a balcony on the 17th floor of Skytech Matrott, a residential society in Sector 76, Noida, on May 28.
Amit Kumar, a relative of the damaged Hyundai Eon car's owner and tenant of flat no E1-002, told City Spidey, “The incident took place around 5.30 am. I came to know of the incident after other residents informed me.”
“When I spoke to the maintenance team, they said that they will investigate the matter,” said Kumar.
Residents of the society complain that the developer used poor quality construction material. They say that the builder did not think about the residents’ security and the maintenance team is not ready to listen to their problems.
Kumar said, “Around 6 am, I called the police. After the police personnel arrived, I complained in the Sector 49 police station.”
GP Singh, SO of Sector 49 police station, confirmed that an FIR was lodged under IPC Section 427. "The investigation is underway and I will comment after the investigation is over,” he added.
