Noida Authority approves budget of Rs 8,070 crore for 2017-18

Noida Authority allocated a budget of Rs 8,070 crore for the financial year 2017-18 during a board meeting held on June 2. Alok Sinha, principal secretary for industry development and chairman of the Authority, and Amit Mohan Prasad, CEO of the Authority, were present in the board meeting.

The Authority allocated Rs 1,058 crore for providing health services and Rs 43 crore for regular maintenance of civic amenities.

The Authority also gave green signal to a proposal under which a fully-automatic compost machine will be installed initially in 25 residential sectors. This will function on RWA and Authority partnership model in which the RWA will bear 25 per cent of the installation cost, and the rest will be borne by the Authority.

Under the residential scheme, the Authority gave a go ahead to the 2006 scheme under which plot allotment would invite 10 per cent reserved cost, 30 per cent on allotment and the remaining 60 per cent of plot cost will be paid in eight installments half-yearly at a compound interest of 11 per cent.

In accordance with Section 8 of the State Industrial Act 1976, the Authority decided not to allow the sub division of plot. If an architect is found guilty of presenting duplicate maps, the Authority will initiate stringent action against the architect. He will not only be fired from the Authority but the Authority will write to the architect council to blacklist him.

From September 30, the allottee will have to pay lease rent on a yearly basis as the Authority decided to scrap the provision on one-time lease rent payment. The exiting allotees will have the chance to pay the one-time lease rent till September 2017.
