Ghaziabad: YNG sets an example for kids

After beautifying flyover pillars and parks in the city, Youth Network Ghaziabad (YNG) has decided to give the city's walls a much-needed makeover.

This weekend’s drive was conducted near Shishu Mandir School in Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad. YNG started work on the walls today and expects to finish by Sunday. The members of YNG started out with cleaning the area opposite Shishu Mandir School, and then went on to paint the boundary wall, earlier covered with bills and advertisement posters.

Speaking to City Spidey, Mayank Chaudhary, president of YNG, said that unlike their other drives, this one was dedicated to the students of the school. “I am sure the schoolchildren will love the makeover," said Chaudhary. "They will pass by it every day. Hopefully, it will leave a lasting impression about cleanliness in their minds."

Earlier, the group had carried out a drive to remove bills and posters from the walls of the Nehru stadium in Ghaziabad.
