WATCH: Residents of Divine Meadows express their frustration

Residents of Divine Meadows, a society in Sector 108, Noida, were left fuming after today's triparty meeting with the builder and the Authority. Residents went on emphatic rants outside the venue, expressing their frustration about the futility of the meeting and Noida Authority's callous attitude.

Residents alleged that the developer had not provided any of the promised facilities. “There is no area for kids to play, the basement is not ready for the parking, the clubhouse is not ready, the firefighting system is non-functional, the swimming pool is not ready and the lifts act up every now and then," complained the residents.

Surendra Kushwaha, president of the buyers association of Divine Meadows and also a resident of the society, told City Spidey that no one was satisfied with the meeting. “The attitude of Noida Authority officials towards our problems is frivolous. They did not even pressurise the builder to commit project completion deadline," he added.

Dhiraj Kumar, another resident, said, "About 300 families are living in the society and only a few security guards present at the society gates. There are no CCTV cameras installed in the society.”

"As we all know, real-estate companies are reeling under grave financial crunch at the moment," said Rajeev Sharma, director of Divine Meadows. "The residents are suffering as a result of that. We will provide all the promised facilities soon. I will submit a tower-wise report to Noida Authority within a week,” he added.
