Gurgaon promised 24-hour power supply!

Haryana government has decided to provide 24-hour power supply to Gurgaon from 15 August. A blueprint has already been prepared to that end.

The news was disclosed by public works (buildings and roads) minister, Rao Narbir Singh, during his visit to the villages of Badshahpur constituency yesterday. He laid the foundation stones for various development works in the villages.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar would make the announcement on Independence Day.

The minister also said that Gurgaon railway station would be modernised, and Dhankot-Gurgaon railway station would be upgraded to international standards.

He also said that the foundation stone for the 5-km Badshahpur Elevated Flyover would be laid before 15 August. With this flyover, commuters will be able to travel from Rajiv Chowk to Sohna in just about 18 minutes.
