On Saturday residents of Ansal Escencia congregated outside the offices of the builder, shouted slogans against the company for failure to fulfil its promises.
Residents of Ansal Esencia in Sector 67, Gurgaon, on Saturday held a demonstration outside the marketing office of the builder to protest the several irregularities and unfulfilled promises.
As per the agreement, the Ansal API, had promised numerous facilities and amenities conducive for a peaceful living in serene atmosphere for residents. But the residents now find themselves cheated as promises of gated community world class living and three tier security, all remain a pipedream.
Even after two and half years, the builder is yet to register sale deed.
“They took registry amount from us more than two and a half year ago but doesn't seem to be in a mood to get the sale deed registered”, said Bhavesh Swami, a resident of the sector. The residents wrote several letters to the management, that refused to respond.
“In the lease deed with customers, the areas marked as roads have been converted to plots without the consent of unit dwellers,” said Suprotim Banerjee, another resident who recently shifted from Delhi. “I am feeling cheated on various accounts,” he told City Spidey.
The township lacks a functional sewage plant which has led to sanitation issues. Even overhead tanks constant face leakage problems.
“The builder has asked us to clear maintenance bills amounting thousands of rupees with no consensus on the maintenance rates.” said Pranav Sharma.
The residents now want DTPC and HUDA to convene a meeting with the builder to sort out the issues. No official from the Ansal API, was however, available for comment.
