Singh won the election against Sukhdev Sharma  (contesting for the first time) by 14 votes.

NP Singh wins FONRWA elections for the fifth time

NP Singh was elected president of Federation of Noida RWAs (FONRWA) for the fifth time at the elction held on July 30. Singh won the election against Sukhdev Sharma  (contesting for the first time) by 14 votes. A total of 13 candidates won from Singh's panel, while seven candidates won from Sharma's panel.

About 170 voters participated in the elections. Satish Khurana, founder member of FONRWA, and KK Gautam, a former police officer, were the election officers for this election.

The election started at 10 am and continued until 1.30 pm at the FONRWA office in Sector 52. Counting of votes started at 3 pm and results were announced by the election officers at 10 pm.

NP Singh told City Spidey that people rewarded his good work and this victory reflected the the love and affection in people's hearts for him. “I will continue to do good work," said Singh. "We have a long way to go to make Noida a world-class city."

Various RWA members of the city said they believed in Singh. "He is the best choice for this job," they added.
