President of the confederation, LP Bhattacharya, said, "We want the whole city free to be free from encroachment and unauthorised parking. We want the authorities give space for parking. Though should be space for pedestrians to walk as well!”
He added, “We’ll have more demonstrations like this if the administration fails to act. We want the High Court order on removal of encroachment to be implemented in the whole city — the city should be made a zero-tolerance zone. We have appealed to the Delhi Development Authority, the MCD and Delhi police to make this objective possible."
