The Greater Noida Active Citizen Group (ACG) has started a campaign to clean the city's park. They have started the campaign from Sector Beta 1.

Harinder Bhati, a member of ACG told City Spidey that the condition of the parks in the city was deplorable. “We had met the officials of Greater Noida Authority and discusssed the issue with them but they did nothing," said Bhati. "We were left with no choice but to do it ourselves."

He also said that the authority-installed park benches were also in a terrible condition and senior citizens who visited the park had no place for sitting. “The grass has not been cut for months and the bushes have overgrown," he rued. "Residents don't feel safe visiting the parks as there might be snakes lurking in the thickets. It was also a threat to the children."

Ashok Singh, Geeta Mishra, Kuldeep Malik and other members of ACG are involved in this campaign.
