"We also discussed the development of a sports complex and a shopping Centre inside the sector. Other issues discussed were the  construction of damaged boundary walls and gates, waterlogging and walkways in  parks."

Vice-president of the RWA, P Behl, said,"The Civic bodies need to pay more attention to our sector. We have asked the Chief engineer to focus on completing the pending works. He listened to our issues patiently and directed the engineers to take actions on priority. We are hopeful of a positive effort from DDA."

According to RWA, the chief engineer would also arrange a follow-up meeting with the other engineers of the Authority soon.

"The chief engineer has agreed to visit our sector to ascertain the ground reality soon," said Chhatwal.
