'We want a CBI probe into our son's death': Armaan's mother

Armaan Sehgal's parents met the SSP Ghaziabad at his office this morning to know their course of action on the Armaan Sehgal case. Earlier this week, Armaan Sehgal, a Class IV student of GD Goenka Public School, Indirapuram, died under mysterious circumstances. They demanded that the school management be arrested on the basis of the evidence and the loopholes that came to light yesterday during the group visit to the school.

"We are being threatened," said Swati Sehgal, Armaan's mother. "The SSP's verbal assurances are not enough to make us feel safe." However, she refused to reveal who has threatened her and her family.

The family members of the child questioned the SSP for not summoning the classteacher for her statement and investigation. The parents demanded a written confirmation from Ghaziabad Police saying the school management will be arrested by Monday.

SSP police HN Singh assured them that no evidence had been destroyed and that they had collected all the evidence from the school on the day of the incident.

Speaking to City Spidey, Singh said, "The forensic team's report is expected by late afternoon tomorrow. Action will be initiated based on the report. The investigation is on and the incident is being probed from various angles."

However, dissatisfied with how the investigation has gone so far, Armaan's parents have demanded a CBI inquiry into their son's death.
