The long wait for Armaan's forensics report

The police said it would be premature to comment on the case without considering the forensics report.

The long wait for Armaan's forensics report

Five days have passed since Armaan Sehgal's death, but the 10-year-old boy's parents and  relatives are yet to have a clear picture of what happened within the premises of GD Goenka Indirapuram on August 1.

Armaan's parents were at the Indirapuram police station today, waiting  for the forensics report to come out. Among other things, the forensics  report will reveal whether Armaan wet himself after the fall or slipped on water. The report might open a new dimension to the case.

Armaan's relatives have been looking for certain small items that belonged to the boy and might have been left at the scene of the incident. “We could not find his glasses. His pencil sharpener was also there on the floor. Maybe the forensic team has taken them away for examination,” said Swati Sehgal, Armaan’s mother.

Similar reactions came from Divanshu Sabharwal, Armaan’s maternal uncle. “We still don’t know what happened that day and nobody has answers to our questions. The school management knows the true story but have not divulged the truth,” Sabharwal added.

The city’s police said the forensics report is expected to arrive from the forensics science laboratory in Agra soon.

The police refused to comment on the case, saying it would be premature to say anything without considering the forensics report.

Meanwhile, the parents and the relatives have started a Facebook campaign named Justice for Armaan Sehgal in order to garner support.
