With 287 complaints still lying unaddressed, the grievance redressal cell has fallen short of people's expectations.

Noida Authority’s grievance redressal cell, which was launched amid much fanfare on May 3, has managed to address only 99 of the 386 complaints it has received since. With 287 complaints still lying unaddressed, this cell has fallen short of people's expectations. 

All complaints were filed over a period of 95 days, from May 3 to August 7. While Noida Authority received 373 complaints via its official email ID, 13 complaints were received through post.

Incidentally, of the 202 complaints on builder-buyer issues, not even one has been resolved till date.

 

 

SC Arora, project engineer of Noida Authority, told City Spidey, “ACEO AK Rai has ordered the officers of the concerned department to look into these pending complaints. Orders have been given to chalk out a detailed plan and resolve all complaints at the earliest.”

Written complaints can be submitted at the reception of Noida Authority’s office. Complaints can also be emailed to Grievanceredresaal@noidaauthority. All complaints are allotted a unique number, so senior officials can track individual complaints and check progress. 

Though this grievance redressal cell has tremendous potential to solve the problems of the residents of Noida, lack of interest by officials of Noida Authority has led to its failing stature.
