Buyers of Amrapali Dream Valley, a residential project in Noida Extension, held protests outside the Amrapali office in Sector 62, Noida, today.

More than hundreds buyers are now present at the site.
Chandana Pal, a protester, said, "We are not leaving this place till our money is returned. We'll continue the protests into night."
Echoing the same sentiment, Vikas Jain, another buyer, chimed in, “We are ready to sit here till the developer returns our money. And that’s what we told our family members, too — we’ll come back with the money.”
Hitesh Nakhashi, another buyer, said, “We have been spreading the word about the protests, and people are joining in. We are all in this together.”

In fact, rumour has it that the builder's office in Sector 62 may be up for auction as well, which has left Amrapali buyers feeling even more anxious.
The builder had launched Amrapali Green Valley in 2009 with 47 towers in Tech Zone 4. It was to construct 12,000 flats — of which 8,000 have already been sold.
Buyers had sought help from Greater Noida Authority, but that didn’t turn out well. Now, they have asked UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to intervene.
