MLA Yadav met representatives of several residential societies and promised to address all the civic problems on a priority basis.
Gulab Singh Yadav, Dwarka MLA, assured residents of the societies in the sub-city that he would address their problem on a priority basis.
On Sunday, he interacted with the management committees of various societies and their residents. Among the residents, many were from societies such as Navin Apartments, Sector 5; Jai Maa Apartments, Sector 5; and Saral Apartments, Sector 10. He also visited a few societies to get a first-hand feel of the issues relating to the residents.
The problems of the citizens were related to water supply, electricity, damaged roads, parks, sanitation and the like.
After listening to the problems, the MLA assured the RWAs and managements to give his full support in resolving the civic issues. He also promised to take up developmental works inside and outside the societies, through MLALAD (MLA Local Area Development) fund. He promised to give the societies an amount of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 4 lakh from the MLA fund.
Yadav said he was working towards turning the colony green and was distributing plants to promote greenery in the area. On every weekend, he and his team carry out plantation in the societies located in various sectors of the colony.
