A delegation of residents from Hyde Park, a partly completed residential complex in Sector 78, Noida, met Atal Rai, additional chief executive officer (ACEO) of Noida Authority, today to apprise him of the poor maintenance services being provided by the builder.

They complained that the builder has been collecting common area maintenance charges from all residents, but has not been providing them the services. They alleged 70 per cent of the facilities are still not developed as construction of several residential towers is still in progress.

Though, buyers were given possession in 2015, but they have been forced to stay without common facilities such as a park or a club.

Satyendra Pal, a resident, said they have had several rounds of meetings with the developers, but no resolution came from them.

Abhishek Sharma, another resident, said, “We gave them a list of demands to the authority. We don’t want the builder to levy full CAM charges, which is Rs 2 per sq feet. We also asked for a separate electricity reading meter. Currently, power is being supplied from a common connection.”

On receiving the complaint, the ACEO forwarded the complaint to the department of the chief architect and town planner, and directed the officer to examine them. He assured the residents of corrective measures.

Annu Khan, president of Federation of Noida Extension Flats Owners Main Association (NEFOMA); Vikas Tripathi and Vikash Sharma, other residents of the society, were present during the meeting.
