In the meantime, a procession of infuriated parents reached the Police Commissioner's office to protest. They are also demanding the release of a group of parents who have been arrested in the school premises, on the grounds of damaging the school's property.
Addressing the agitated crowd, DCP Deepak Sharan said that the police investigations shall be done very thoroughly. In the course of the meeting with Sharan, the father of the victim reiterated that the murderer and school authorities are culprits in equal measure. He therefore demanded strict punitive action against both.
