Agitated parents are staging a protest from Shyam Kunj to the school. Nearly 500 parents have joined the protests.
There's heavy police deployment in the area.
Parents are demanding a CBI enquiry into the brutal murder. They are also blaming the police for not arresting anyone from the school authorities, whom they hold responsible for slack security on the premises.
Though one arrest has been made, most parents feel the murder could not have been the work of just one person.
Parents have alleged that though there are 16 CCTV in the school, none are functional.
Arun Yadav, a protesting parent, said, "This is not the first time Ryan International School has been utterly irresponsible. Earlier too, a child had died. They are culpable of negligence. How can the driver enter the premises with a knife? And how come he was in the same toilet as the child? These are glaring security lapses!"
Parents have formed a group to demand a close scrutiny of security measures at all Ryan International branches, as well as other schools. They will take up the matter with the district administration.
They will also initiate a signature campaign.
