The newly appointed DCP of South West District, Shibesh Singh, on Sunday assured residents of different societies and representatives of various social organisations in and around Dwarka that they would get the cooperation of the police for every well-meaning initiative aimed at the people.

The top cop of the district was attending a function to felicitate him, organised by the Federation of CGHS, Dwarka, at Priyanka Banquet Hall in Sector 10. Other senior police officials of the district - additional DCP1 Gaurav Sharma, additional DCP1 Vichitra Vir Singh and ACP Rajender Singh - were present.

Social organisations such as Federation of CGHS, Pahal, Hello Mom, Gurudwara Sikh Sabha, Malyali Association and others were present. Representatives of various housing societies and RWA members, too, attended the meet and interacted with the DCP and his team. The residents promised all help to police on community participation in policing.

General secretary of Federation of CGHS, Sudha Sinha, said, “We organised this event to make the DCP and his team familiar with the RWAs and social organisations of the sub-city and its surroundings."
