Two days after losing child, father demands CBI inquiry

The father of the 8-year-old boy who was murdered in the toilet of Ryan International School in Bhondsi demanded a CBI inquiry into the incident, which has sent shockwaves across parents in the NCR. They are now in fear for the safety and security of their schoolgoing children.

Even though the police has arrested a bus conductor, Ashok Kumar, from Ghamboj village for the murder, the parents of the child are not convinced.

Barun Chandra Thakur, the father of the child, told City Spidey, “I do appreciate that the Gurgaon Police is making efforts in this case, but I want a CBI inquiry into this. The murder was so sudden. How can it be so sudden? An in-depth investigation is required to ascertain the actual sequence of events.”

He further expressed his anger and questioned how the school authorities did not even bother to come forward and talk about the incident.

“Such incidents can happen in future too. The school needs to take responsibility. After we drop our children at the school gate, it is the school’s responsibility. Our whole world has come crashing down. But strict action now will ensure that it doesn’t happen to any child in future,” said Thakur.
