Noida: Cops deal with yet another bus conductor of Ryan International today

How appallingly callous can a school get with regard to safety and security parameters? One cannot but help wondering when two men are found in an apparently inebriated state at the premises of the Noida branch of the very Ryan International School that has infamously made headlines after the murder of a eight year old student.

Ironically, one of them Prithvi Raj is the school bus conductor in charge of Bus No 8. The other man Subodh is apparently the conductor’s friend. This was stated to City Spidey by Paul, the transport manager of this school in Noida Sector 39. These men were discovered by the anxious parents who have been protesting since this morning against the prevailing security measures of the school.

Pravesh Tokas, a parent informed City Spidey that around 12 in the afternoon they met the City Magistrate and requested for an inspection of the school. The City Magistrate agreed to inspect the school around 2 pm.

“Right after our meeting, we headed back to the school and found these two men who seemed to be drunk. We immediately handed them over to the police and the police sent them for a medical test,” Tokas informed.

However, after conducting the alcohol test, Doctor Ravindra Kumar, Emergency Medical Officer at the District Hospital told City Spidey that the men had not consumed liquor.

Meanwhile, keeping his word, Mahendra Singh, City Magistrate reached the school around 2.30 pm and conducted a meeting with the Principal. Some parents were also present at this meeting.

Sumita Mukherjee, Principal of Ryan International School Noida told City Spidey that they require three days to implement all the demands of the parents. She also assured the parents that their children are in safe hands.

Mahendra Singh, City Magistrate told City Spidey that the Principal is in agreement with the concerns raised by the parents and that she is ready to increase the security inside the premises and school buses. “She will also increase the security guards in the premises to guard the school,” he added.

Aashman Singh, a parent who was present in the meeting with the City Magistrate and School Principal backed Singh’s statement.
