FedAOA: Buyers can file online complaints on the federation’s website

To build a solid platform for homebuyers to register their complaints regarding delayed projects, Federation of Apartment Owners Association (FedAOA), the apex body of AOAs in Ghaziabad, has started taking complaint applications online.

The complaints can be filed online by filling up a form on the federation’s website. The form includes details of the buyer, the project, percentage of the payments made along with duration of delay of the project.

The consolidated list of all the buyers, who mostly hail from Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, will then be submitted to the three-member ministerial committee instituted by the CM-led UP government.

Speaking to City Spidey, Alok Kumar, president of FedAOA, said, “The platform will serve as a solid and real database of homebuyers in the area. In several cases, it was seen that buyers were unable to be physically present before the authorities, or the committees, due to various reasons. Sometimes, they were out of station, or just unable to come during working hours.”

Kumar further said that the database formed from the applications can also be used as a platform in front of the court in the event of filing litigations. “We can also use it to mount pressure on the government to constitute Real Estate Regulatory Authority for UP and also apply the Real Estate Regulatory Act properly in the state,” he explained.

The applications will be presented in front of the ministers in an upcoming meeting and can be filled up at http://fedaoa.ravindrasaini.in/FlatBuyerRegistration.aspx
