Parents fear Ryan International may lose CBSE affiliation

Parents of Ryan International School, Bhondsi, are now worried that the school is on its way to losing its CBSE affiliation. And they have already started approaching other schools in the vicinity for their wards.

A team of four from the CBSE board had recently visited the premises to check if the school was following guidelines prescribed by them — and they found the school severely lacking in security measures.

Though the team is yet to submit its report, parents are already wary.

“What will our children do if the board takes away its affiliation? So I have already decided to shift my child elsewhere,” said Upasna Chibber, a resident of Sohna Road.

The children, too, are not feeling safe in the school.

“My daughter will not go to the washroom in the school. That’s how badly affected these children are. We have already started looking out for better options in the vicinity,” said a parent, requesting anonymity.

The school authorities have, however, remained cagey on the issue and have not responded to queries from worried parents.

“The principal will never agree to meet or talk with us — they simply don't feel they are responsible. Such a big incident happened on the premises, and they are not willing to talk to parents!” lashed out another parent, who didn't want to be named.
