In view of the recent episodes of violence against children on school premises, the women's wing of Janasamskriti, a Dwarka-based social organisation, held an awareness event at Sector 6 DDA park.
The event was attended by both parents and children.

She emphasised on the importance of looking beyond the brand name and academic record of a school, which are often the yardsticks for most parents during admission. They should, she added, also look at the security aspects.
Tara SP of Janasamskriti, also a resident of Sahyadri Apartments in Sector 12, said, "Children learnt a lot from the speaker. Her insights were helpful for the parents, who got a chance to share their concerns. The talk was very interactive and much appreciated by the audience."
