Dwarka residents line up for blood donation

On Sunday enthusiastic Dwarkaites had lined up for a blood donation camp organised by social organisation Dwarakalaya. Today another successful blood donation camp was organised by IP University in association with Rotary Club Delhi Aspire. The camp was conducted at the Dwarka Campus of the university. The staff and students together donated 74 units of blood. 

From the university’s side, Pankaj Agrawal, Deputy Registrar of General Administration was actively involved in the organisation of this camp. On the other hand, from Rotary Club of Delhi Aspire three people were instrumental in managing the camp. These three people were Arun Gupta who holds the post of president and J P Gupta and Anil Bansal who hold the positions of secretary and joint secretary respectively.   

After the blood donation camp, saplings of medicinal plants were also planted by the staff members of the university and members of Rotary Club of Delhi Aspire. About 50 saplings have been planted, sources told City Spidey.
