The nine auspicious nights of Navratri are being celebrated at Prateek Wisteria, a residential society in Noida Sector 77 amid much pomp and splendour.
Dressed in all their finery, people are immersing themselves in the spirit of this festival by swaying to the beats of Dandiya in abandon.
However, it is not just grown-ups who are invoking the nine forms of the Divine Mother and revelling in the celebrations organised at this residential society. "On Sunday night, children had regaled the audiences with a variety of dance performances and a fashion show," said a resident. "Since all these performances were part of a competition there was a lot of zest and excitement," he added.

In the course of the evening, children were also encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings on the ongoing celebrations and the festival of Navratra.
