Management of Ganpati Apartments is on the way to upgrade the society's infrastructure. And they are starting with the elevators.
According to the management, all the six lifts are being replaced for a smoother and faster ride.
Installation of new elevators in progress
President of the society Advocate KS Bhati said, “The existing elevators are more than 16 years old, from the time Ganpati Apartments were constructed. The old ones are still working fine but we decided it'd be safer with new lifts in place.”
Bhati informed that the installation of the lifts would cost about a crore. “It will take about 6 months to instal all the new lifts. A lift committee comprising in-house engineers and other professionals from the society is monitoring the work."
