The route followed by the bus
According to Layak Singh, traffic inspector of Noida, the school bus had broken down and was parked beside the road, waiting for an alternative bus to pick up the students and drop them to school.
The driver of the bus has also sustained serious injuries. Both the injured have been rushed to Jaypee Hospital.
Layak Singh also said, “The truck driver escaped from the spot after the incident, and the police have launched a massive manhunt to track him down."
