One of the biggest festivals of Bihar and Eastern UP concluded today with arghya [offering of milk or water] to the rising sun. In the early morning hours, the devotees and vratees [those who kept fast] paid their respects to the rising sun at the Chhath Ghats in various sectors and societies.
Those who could do not go to the ghats made their offerings to the water tanks on the society terrace.
Organisers distributed tulsi plants and a CD of Surya Mantra to devotees at ghats. MLA of Palam Assembly, Bhavna Gaud, visited the Sector 11 ghat today morning.
