Cycling has caught the fancy of fitness freaks in Gurgaon, who took to a 15-km track from Qutab Plaza to Faridabad Road on Sunday morning.
In yet another exciting fitness stint, almost 150 cyclists from the corporate world came together and took part in the cycling event organised for FIS Global Services, Gurgaon.
The cycling enthusiasts were seen pursuing their passion for sport not only as a fitness activity but also as an activity to promote non-motor transport in Gurgaon.
The route prescribed was a 15-km stretch that started from Qutub Plaza right up to the Faridabad road.
Speaking about the event, Mamta Wasan, senior vice-president of the people office, said “This has become an annual event now. We have a cross-functional group in our organisation that organises running events and cycling.”
With all this and more, Gurgaon residents are becoming more conscious and aware of health and wellness to stay healthy and maintain high fitness levels.
