Over 100 people attend free eye checkup camp in Dwarka

The NGO Age Well Association, promised to provide further eye tests to those needing it free of cost at the Centre for Sight clinics.

Age Well Association, an NGO had organised a free eye checkup camp today at New Jai Bharat Apartments in Sector 4 Dwarka. This had been organised in association with Centre for Sight. 

Over a 100 people from the locality had attended the camp and used the medical facilities on offer. Age Well Association (AWA) has been teaming with Centre for Sight for the past three years to hold similar camps in the locality.

Vice President of AWA and a resident of Sri Agrasen Apartments in Sector 7, AK Parashar told City Spidey that the camp has been a success in terms of people's participation. "Cards were given to all the people who got their eyes tested. Further tests, for people needing them, will be carried out at the facilities of the Centre for Sight, free of cost," said Parashar. 

I M Khanna, President, Age Well Association and a resident of New Jai Bharat Apartments informed the people that more such camps were in the offing. “We want to extend the benefit to all the members of residential societies, workers, maids and drivers working in the housing apartments of the region,” he stated.

Sudha Sinha, General Secretary of Federation of CGHS, Dwarka and other members of the federation were also present on the occasion  along with Kamal Sharma, president of New Jai Bharat Apartments.
