Residents of Dwarka Sector 7 had a freewheeling chat with the cops today

Today, residents from various societies in Dwarka Sector 7 had shared a plethora of security concerns with the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and his team. This was done in the course of a police-public meeting that had been especially organised at Air Force and Naval Officers Enclave to facilitate one on one interaction of the people with the cops. Issues related to dark spots, car parking, open drinking, encroachment and broken traffic signals were discussed.

Munish Kundra, a resident of Brahma Apartments had raised the issue of encroachment particularly on the road connecting his apartment to Ramphal Chowk. People also urged the police to increase patrolling on roads. ACP Rajendra Singh noted down all the problems and assured the residents of a speedy redressal.

The police public meet had been organised by the Federation of CGHS, Dwarka. General Secretary of the Federation, Sudha Sinha informed City Spidey that she will be organising many such meets in the future.
