There is good news for residents of Radhika Apartments, in Sector 14, Pocket 1, Dwarka. Soon the area will be illuminated with streetlights. Today, streetlights worth Rs 40 lakh were inaugurated by the area MP, Parvesh Verma. He visited the society with former MLA of Matiala, Rajesh Gehlot, and councillor of the area, Raj Datt Gehlot.

The RWA team and residents of the society interacted with the MP on various subjects. People also demanded a community centre in the area.

President of the RWA, SD Chowhan, requested the MP to control the stray dog population in the area and asked him to improve the civic amenities in the society and the surrounding areas.

Verma assured the people that the needful would be done. He informed them that a new community centre was being constructed near the society. He also said that the streetlights would be provided to the society by next month.

Gehlot informed the people that the internal roads of the society would also be repaired. He said that carpeting of roads by SDMC would begin in January. 

Interacting with the residents, the MP attacked the state government for poor development in the area and Delhi in general. He said that the chief minister of Delhi was doing nothing except make excuses.

Verma also accused that the area MLA of being least concerned about the people.
