In the latest development in the Ryan International murder case, the CBI today took the fingerprints of the juvenile accused.
The procedure, which took more than an hour, happened at the observation home in Faridabad where the juvenile has been lodged after his arrest. The CBI team comprising three officials took the fingerprints of the juvenile on five different types of paper.
According to the father of the juvenile, they were ready to submit the fingerprints right after the arrest. However, the delay happened as no such direction was passed by the Juvenile Justice Board.
As per sources, no other exchange took place between the CBI and the juvenile today. The case is now waiting for court orders, which will determine whether the juvenile should be treated as an adult.
