Chintan Tiwari, a resident of Omaxe Forest Spa, a residential society in Sector 93B of Noida, announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for his missing dog, a three-year-old grey American Bully.

The dog was stolen by four men from outside Tiwari’s home on December 20.

Tiwari also lodged a complaint at Phase II police station.

In Tiwari's words, “My servant had taken him out for a walk in the evening at around 6 pm, when four men in a white Toyota Corolla stopped by and abducted the dog at knifepoint. The servant was too scared to raise an alarm. At the time of the incident, the dog was wearing a blue jacket and a green-black harness.”

The dog’s name is Promise, and he has been with the family since he was 6 months old.

The vehicle number could not be made out in the CCTV footage sourced from the camera placed outside the society's gate, and only the car make could be ascertained.

Tiwari, a businessman, has appealed to the people to return his dog and take the reward without revealing the identity. He pasted about a 100 posters at various places in Sector 93B and in the nearby areas. The poster has also been shared on various WhatsApp groups and other online platforms.

In a fervent appeal, Tiwari says, “I want my child back at any cost. Please contact me in case you have information about Promise. You can bring the dog back and take the cash without revealing your identity.”

Shawez Khan, station officer of Phase II police station, said, “We received the complaint, but no FIR has been lodged as of now. On the basis of the complaint and the CCTV footage, suitable action will be taken. We are meeting people and trying to get the dog back.”
