GB Nagar administration is working out ways to curb rising pollution in Noida. Campaigns are on to make residents aware about the issue and methods to prevent the same.

Noida RTO, too, has started to tighten its grip on pollution-heavy vehicles in the city.

The administration has also banned stubble-burning or burning of garbage or horticultural waste in the district.

DM BN Singh has ordered the Pollution Control Department to keep an eye on the daily statistics of pollution in Noida, and make that data available to the general public.

According to figures received from Sector 125 measuring station, the AQI of Noida today stood at 340.

In the last 24 hours, the average AQI has been 415, and PM10 volume 377 mcg per metre cube and PM2.5 volume 281 mcg per metre cube.

Similarly, according to data received from Sector 62 station, the AQI is 266; the average volume of PM10 in the last 24 hours has been 330 mcg per metre cube and PM2.5 was 114 mcg per metre cube.
