Here’s some good news for residents of the condominium CHD Avenue, in Sector 71, Gurgaon. HUDA will now provide access to sector road for residents. The new road will connect CHD and the stretch between Subhash Chowk and Hero Honda flyover.
So far, residents of CHD Avenue have been using the Revenue Road connecting the condominium to Sohna Road, much to the ire of locals. To prevent the residents from using the stretch, the local even dug up a few points.
Intervening in the matter, HUDA administrator Yashpal Yadav said, “No one can stop residents from using the Revenue Road, as it belongs to HUDA. We have already acquired 1.5 km of the land for building a road and the remaining 200 m will be acquired soon. In the meantime, we have informed MCG to take action against people who have been trying to disrupt movement, and ensure that residents have access to the road.”
The decision to provide access was taken at a meeting with RS Bathh, the district town planner, Manish Yadav, assistant town planner; Sudhir Chauhan, senior town planner, and Gaurav Antil, joint commissioner of MCG.
