Both the men have been produced before the district court. The police are now examining CCTV footage from the area for more clues.
Gurgaon Police has arrested the second accused in the horrifying rape incident that took place in Farukhnagar on January 15. The cops have also seized the car in which the accused had allegedly raped the college student.
The accused had allegedly abducted the victim in a Swift Dzire car while she was returning from college. They had taken turns to rape her while driving around in the city. However, the victim, who had gone into trauma, had reported the matter only on Thursday.
The police have registered a case against the two accused, identified as Pawan and Lalit based on the description provided by the rape survivor. The police had already arrested Pawan on Thursday, while Lalit was nabbed today. Both men were produced before the district court.
The police are now investigating the case. The car, too, has been seized. The CCTV footage of the area is being examined for further clues on the case.
