Ekisha Shah suicide case: Shattered parents to approach Supreme Court Ekisha Shah's father in press conference

Ekisha Shah’s father Raghav Shah said in a press conference on Monday that he will approach the Supreme Court for justice. He is all set to file a plea in the apex court on Tuesday regarding CBI investigation of his daughter’s suicide.

The 16-year-old victim’s father has alleged that Ahlcon Public School’s principal has bribed the police and they are trying to close the case.

Shah said that lawyer Sushil Thekriwal will represent their case in the court. Thekriwal is already representing Pradyuman Thakur case in Gurgaon.

“Around 20,000 people from Bihar, our native place will be joining us in quest of justice for Ekisha,” he added.

At the conference, the shattered father revealed a brutal incident faced by his daughter in the classroom during a normal school session.

“Once my daughter had her monthly periods and went to the washroom to change. She took around 15 - 20 minutes to return to the class. The female teacher who was on duty in the class abused her, hit her and made her stand up on the bench,” said Shah.

Arun Kumar Singh, SP city of Noida told City Spidey that the parent's allegations couldn’t be proved due to lack of evidence and hence no arrests had taken place. “But the police is investigating the matter very closely,” Singh said.

Ekisha, a 16-year-old student of Ahlcon Public School, Mayur Vihar Phase-I, was found hanging at her Noida Sector 52 residence on last Wednesday.

Her parents alleged that school teachers had sexually harassed her and deliberately failed her in her annual exams. Ekisha's family had even blocked the Noida-Delhi link road from both sides for about five hours and demanded justice for their daughter.

Noida Police have filed an FIR against two teachers and the principal under IPC sections 306 (abetment to suicide), 354 (sexual harassment and punishment for sexual harassment), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and the POCSO Act.
