The world Bhojpuri conference organised by Poorvanchal Ekta Manch in Dwarka brought to us various facets of Bhojpuri culture. The conference constituted of Bhojpuri folk dance, folk songs , poetry and other activities.
It was staged for two days at Dadadev Mela ground and culminated on late Sunday night. The Dwarka residents were bedazzled by the gala event.
Many folk artists and the artists from Bhojpuri film industry displayed their craft during the event. Huge number of Dwarka residents, many of whom have their roots in UP and Bihar, gathered to watch the spellbinding performances.
Political leaders belonging to Poorvanchal such as former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar, Buxar MP Ashwini Choubey, President of Delhi BJP and North East Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari, former MP of Dwarka, Mahabal Mishra, Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken and many others were present in the event.
