“I bought cheese from the market last night and I am shocked after this incident,” Singh said.
A woman living in Noida had a horrific experience while making sandwiches for children on Wednesday morning. While she was making the sandwich, she spotted small pieces of glass in the cheese. It was more frightening because the cheese that she was using belonged to a famous brand.
The woman, Gayatri Singh, found eight pieces of glass in the cheese. She lives in Omaxe The Forest, a residential society in Sector 92 of Noida.
Gayatri Singh revealed to City Spidey that she was completely shocked to find eight pieces of glass while making breakfast for the kids.
“I bought cheese from the market last night and I am shocked after this incident,” Singh said.
Singh further said that it was more intriguing because people trust this brand and they buy milk, cheese and other items regularly from this company.
When City Spidey contacted Sanjay Sharma, designated officer of food and drug department of Gautam Budh Nagar, he said that he was not aware of the issue. But, he assured that he will immediately send a team for investigation.
The officer said that he will speak more on the issue once the investigation gets complete. But, he also said that they will take tough action against this brand if the claims are found to be true.
He said that a penalty of Rs 1 lakh will be imposed on the company once the claims are proved.
