Police are talking to the victims to ascertain more details about the robbers and get the miscreants’ sketches released.

Dwarka residents were in a state of shock as sounds of gunshots reverberated in the area on Wednesday evening. As per the police, some Bidi distributors from the local markets of Dwarka were robbed of cash and jewelry at around 7 pm on Wednesday.
The incident was reported from Dwarka Gurgaon outer road (Golf Link Road). Police said that apparently, the victims were being followed by the miscreants since hours. However, the robbers attacked them only after being sure that they had collected a huge amount of money.
ACP Dwarka, Rajendra Singh told City Spidey, “ A person named Lokesh kumar, aged 28 years, told us that three to four unknown people, travelling in a Hyundai Verna car, bearing registration number - DL CH 01A 6349 opened fire on his tempo (bearing registration number HR 55T 0501) near CNG Pump Pochan Pur in Sector -23 of Dwarka.”
Police further added that all the five people travelling in the tempo were able to escape unharmed.
Two empty cartridges and a live one were recovered by the police from the spot.
Police are talking to the victims to ascertain more details about the robbers and get the miscreants’ sketches released. The exact amount of money robbed is yet to be confirmed. Moreover, police are also trying to collect CCTV footage from the spot of the robbery in order to identify the culprits.
